Desco Job Circular 2023 – Dhaka Electric Supply Company (DESCO) Limited is entrusted with the responsibilities of operation, maintenance & development of the power system network and distribution of electricity within most of the areas of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), Purbachal and part of Tongi area. DESCO invites application from eligible candidates for appointment in the following posts on contractual basis.

At least graduate Degree in HR/Management or any other relevant subject from any recognized university. No third Division/Class at any stage of academic career shall be acceptable. Candidates passed in the grading system must possess at least a CGPA 3.5 on a scale of 5.0 and CGPA 2.5 on a scale of 4.0  Must have demonstrated strong participatory leadership ability. Must have strong communication skill in Bengali & English (written & oral) including computer literacy. HSC (Science) or equivalent having minimum 2nd division/ At least GPA 2.0 on a scale of 5.0 at any stage of academic career and good working knowledge in MS office. H.S.C or equivalent having minimum 2nd division/At least GPA 2.0 on a scale of 5.0 at any stage of academic career and good working knowledge in MS office.

Last Date of Application: Application Procedure: (i) Interested candidates have to apply only through the ‘Online Application Form’ wherein a scanned photograph, signature, last required educational certificate, experience certificate (where applicable), freedom fighter’s certificate of parents or grandparents as applicable of the candidate have to be uploaded in due places in the form. What is the job Facialities?

House rent @ 50/60% of basic per month as per pay scale-2016, two festival bonuses in a year, recognized provident fund, group insurance, encashment of earned leave and gratuity as per applicable rules of the company, medical allowances and transport allowances will be provided as per company policy.

General Conditions:
1. Age limit is maximum 30 (thirty) years as on 25/03/2020. In case of departmental candidates having required qualifications age limit is maximum 40 (Forty) years as on 25/03/2020.
2. Freedom fighter quota’ will be followed as per government rules. In case of son/daughter of Freedom Fighters age limit is maximum 32 (Thirty-two) years as on 25/03/2020 for the posts under Sl. No.4 to 6.
3. Affidavit with respect to age will not be accepted.
4. Candidates in service will be required to apply through proper channel.
5. Incorrect/incomplete applications and applications received after deadline will not be entertained and liable for rejection.
6. Persuasion of any kind will disqualify the candidature.
7. The appointing authority reserves the right to decline any of the post, accept or reject any application and increase or decrease number of posts/positions as it may seem proper and no explanation for such action will be provided to the applicant.
